Terms of use Terms of use

Terms for Blind Drill accounts, simulated trading, the free trial, paid plans, renewals, cancellation, refunds and permitted use of historical data.

Published

These terms govern your use of Blind Drill, operated by Easy Internet. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. Read them together with the privacy policy and risk disclosure. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Blind Drill is a practice service. Its account balance, orders, positions and results are simulated. Buying access to Blind Drill purchases use of the trainer, not a financial product, brokerage account or investment service.

The service and its limits

Blind Drill provides short blind drills on historical trading days, a mode for selecting an available day, chart controls, simulated orders, account history and scorecards. Blind drills hide the ticker and date until the session ends. The discipline grade records specified rule breaks against the settings used in that session.

Blind Drill is not a broker and does not place real trades or hold trading funds. It provides no trade ideas, signals, tips, alerts or investment advice. You are responsible for any real-world financial decisions you make. Nothing displayed in a drill, scorecard or explanatory page is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold an asset.

Historical replays use 1-minute bars, with modeled fills, slippage and commissions. They do not provide Level 2 or tick data. Simulated results do not predict results in live trading, and a high discipline score does not establish future profitability.

An account is for one person only. Do not share access or allow another person to use your account. Keep access to your email secure because Blind Drill uses email sign-in links rather than passwords. Each link works once and expires in 30 minutes.

You are responsible for using an email address you can access and for the activity conducted through your account. The account page shows your email, plan and status, including trial time remaining and the relevant renewal or access end date. Review those details when managing your access.

Account emails consist of sign-in links, a reminder 2 days before the trial ends and a notice when it ends. Blind Drill does not send newsletters or marketing emails. Payment receipts come from Paddle.

The 7-day free trial

A 7-day free trial starts when a new email signs up. It includes full access to all features, requires only an email address and does not require a payment card. One trial is available per email address.

Nothing is charged when the trial ends. Access to drills on real historical days pauses until you choose a paid plan. Your account history remains saved, and the synthetic demo day remains available. Trial expiration does not itself authorize a purchase or subscription.

DEMO is open without an account and uses synthetic practice data. It is clearly identified as a demonstration, not a real stock. Results from a demo session without sign-in are saved for that browser only.

Plans and recurring payments

All prices are in US dollars. Every plan provides the same features; the differences concern payment timing and duration of access.

The monthly plan costs $15 per month. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. The yearly plan costs $99 per year, equivalent to about $8.25 a month, and renews automatically each year until canceled. The monthly equivalent describes the yearly price; it is not a separate monthly billing option.

You can switch between monthly and yearly through the account page. Review the billing information presented when making a change so you understand the plan and dates that will apply to your account.

Recurring plans continue according to their renewal schedule unless canceled. The account page displays the relevant plan status and dates so you can review them before managing billing.

Paddle, checkout and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Your order is with Paddle, and Paddle's buyer terms also apply to that purchase.

Paddle runs checkout, charges your card, handles sales tax and VAT, sends payment receipts and provides the billing page used to update a card or cancel a subscription. Blind Drill never receives or sees card numbers. Payment information is handled by Paddle under its own terms and privacy notice.

Depending on your country, sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout. Check the final amount presented there before completing an order. The listed Blind Drill plan prices remain denominated in US dollars in every language version of the site.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a monthly or yearly subscription at any time from your account page, using the Paddle billing page. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the period already paid for. No further subscription charges are made after cancellation.

Cancellation and a refund request are different actions. Cancellation stops future renewal payments. A full refund is available on request within 14 days of any payment, including a renewal payment. The refund policy is not limited to your first purchase.

For help with a refund or a billing issue, contact contact@blinddrill.com. Include enough information to identify the account and payment, but do not send card numbers to Blind Drill. Your payment receipt and account billing information help identify the transaction without sharing those details.

Founders lifetime access

Founders lifetime costs $149 in one payment, with no renewals. It provides full access for as long as Blind Drill runs. This describes the duration of the service, not the buyer's lifetime or a promise that Blind Drill will operate indefinitely.

The offer is limited to the first 100 buyers. The pricing page shows a live count of remaining seats. A founder seat is personal and cannot be transferred, shared or resold. It unlocks the same features as monthly and yearly access, rather than a separate set of promised future features.

The 14-day full-refund policy applies to this payment as it does to other payments. Do not interpret the plan name as an exception to the limitations on availability or simulated performance described in these terms.

Subscription price changes

A change to a recurring subscription price does not affect the current paid period. It can take effect only at the next renewal, and subscribers are informed in advance.

If you do not wish to continue at a changed renewal price, cancel through your account page. Access then continues through the period already paid for. A price change does not convert a founders lifetime purchase into a recurring subscription; that plan has one payment and no renewals.

Historical data and the changing library

The library changes over time. US stock coverage is a rolling collection of recent trading days, roughly the last month, and a new day is added every trading day. No specific stock, crypto pair or historical day is guaranteed to remain available.

Stock data is built from IEX trades. Its volume represents IEX activity only, not consolidated market volume. Stock bars cover 04:00 to 16:00 ET, and regular-session minutes without an IEX trade can appear as flat bars at the last price. Crypto prices come from decentralized trading pools and may differ from centralized exchange prices.

Replay data is historical, at least one trading day old, and supplied for educational replay. Bars are released one step at a time during a session. The service does not offer market-data exports or downloads.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

Use Blind Drill for personal practice through the provided interface. Do not scrape, copy or redistribute its market data. Do not use automated access, resell access or make the service or data available to other people through your account.

Do not use the service to bypass its access restrictions or interfere with its operation. Your permission to use a drill is permission to interact with that drill in the service, not to extract the underlying data or reproduce the trainer elsewhere.

Blind Drill's branding, interface and original content remain subject to applicable intellectual property rights. Historical data and other materials may also carry rights held by their respective owners. Paying for access does not transfer those rights or authorize copying, redistribution or commercial reuse.

Availability, changes and responsibility

The service and its library can change, and access may be interrupted. Blind Drill does not promise uninterrupted availability, the continued presence of a particular day or symbol, or that every simulated fill will match a real-world execution.

The trainer is provided for educational practice subject to the limits described here. Its charts and calculations should not be relied upon as live market data, investment advice or a substitute for professional advice. Review the risk disclosure before treating a simulated result as evidence about a real trading decision.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Blind Drill does not accept liability for trading losses or other losses arising from treating simulated outputs as investment advice or predictions of live results. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension, termination and deletion

Access may be suspended or terminated for a breach of these terms, including account sharing, automated access, data redistribution or resale. This does not remove rights that applicable law requires to remain available.

You can end a recurring subscription by canceling it through your account page. To delete your account, first cancel any running subscription, then use Delete account. Deletion removes your email, sessions and scores from Blind Drill. Paddle retains transaction records as required by law.

Canceling a subscription and deleting an account serve different purposes. Cancellation controls future billing; deletion removes your account and practice history. Review the account status before confirming deletion so that a running subscription is handled first.

Changes to terms and contact

These terms may be updated when the service or its conditions change. The terms presented with the service describe the conditions applying to its use, subject to any rights that applicable law protects. Subscription price changes follow the advance-notice rule stated above.

The service operator is Easy Internet. Questions about these terms, account access or refunds can be sent to contact@blinddrill.com.
