Privacy policy Privacy policy

What Blind Drill keeps for accounts and practice, how necessary cookies work, what Paddle handles, and how to delete, copy or correct your data.

Published

Blind Drill, operated by Easy Internet, uses account and practice information to run the trainer and keep your session history. This policy explains what is collected, where browser storage fits in and what happens when you purchase a plan or delete an account.

The distinction matters: Blind Drill keeps your practice record and plan status, while Paddle.com processes your purchase as Merchant of Record. Blind Drill never receives your card numbers. Questions about this policy or requests for a copy or correction of your data can be sent to contact@blinddrill.com.

Account information

When you create and use an account, Blind Drill keeps your email address, the time the account was created and the last sign-in time. It also keeps the trial start and end dates, your plan, its status and the relevant renewal or access end dates.

These details support email sign-in, trial access and paid-plan access. The account page uses them to show which plan applies, whether the trial is still running and when a renewal or access end is due. Blind Drill uses email sign-in links, so there is no account password for you to create.

Your trial dates and plan status are separate from your practice results. For example, a trial can end while your previous sessions remain saved. Access to real-day drills then pauses until you choose a plan, but trial expiration is not account deletion.

Sessions, trades and scores

Blind Drill keeps practice sessions and results linked to your account. This includes the symbol, day, trades, scores and rule settings. These records allow you to revisit sessions and see your recent average discipline score rather than losing the record after each drill.

A practice record describes activity inside the simulator. It is not a record of real brokerage transactions, because Blind Drill does not place real trades. Even so, the record is linked to your account and is covered by the deletion, copy and correction options described below.

Before sign-in, demo-day results are linked to a random anonymous ID in a first-party cookie. That cookie is kept for 1 year. This lets results from the no-account demo remain associated with the browser in which the demo was used.

Necessary cookies and local storage

Blind Drill uses a session cookie to keep you signed in, keep the replay working and protect forms with a security token. It also uses the anonymous ID cookie described above for demo results before sign-in. Both cookies are strictly necessary for those functions.

Rule settings, chart timeframe and indicator choices are also saved in the browser's local storage on your device. This browser storage lets the interface remember those choices. It is distinct from account-linked session history: one concerns settings on a device, while the other is the practice record saved with an account.

The anonymous ID cookie lasts 1 year. This policy does not treat it as an advertising identifier or an analytics cookie. Blind Drill has no advertising, analytics or tracking pixels. The functions described here support sign-in, replay, form security and saved practice preferences.

Payments are processed by Paddle

Paddle.com is the online reseller and Merchant of Record for Blind Drill orders. Paddle collects and processes payment details, billing address and tax information under its own privacy notice. Its checkout window opens only when you choose a plan.

Blind Drill receives only the information it needs to manage that plan: a customer and subscription reference, the plan, its status and dates, and the country. These details allow the trainer to apply the relevant access status to your account. Blind Drill never receives card numbers.

Card updates, receipts and subscription cancellation are handled through Paddle. The account page opens Paddle's billing page when you choose Manage billing. Because Paddle handles the purchase, its processing and legally required transaction records are separate from the practice data kept by Blind Drill.

A free trial needs only an email address and no card. Starting a trial therefore does not require opening the payment checkout. Choosing a plan is the step that opens the purchase flow.

Account emails only

Blind Drill sends sign-in links and trial-related emails. The trial emails are a reminder 2 days before the trial ends and a notice when it ends. These messages support access to the account and explain the state of the trial.

Blind Drill sends no newsletters or marketing emails and does not use email tracking. The emails are not used to track whether you opened them. Payment receipts are sent by Paddle as part of the transaction, rather than by Blind Drill's account-email flow.

The sign-in link works once and expires in 30 minutes. The email address is therefore part of the account access mechanism as well as the destination for trial notices. Keep access to your email when using the service.

Site files and operational logs

All site files are served from Blind Drill itself. There are no analytics services, advertising scripts or tracking pixels. The only outside script is Paddle's checkout, and it is loaded only when needed for a purchase.

The hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and operation. These logs include IP address, browser information and pages requested. They are operational logs, separate from the practice records shown in your account and from the payment information processed by Paddle.

The information in these logs supports security and operation, rather than advertising or audience analytics. For questions about information associated with your use of the service, contact contact@blinddrill.com.

Retention and account deletion

Account and practice data are kept until you delete the account. You can delete your account and data from the account page at any time. If a subscription is running, cancel it first, then use Delete account. This removes your email, sessions and scores from Blind Drill.

An expired trial or canceled subscription does not itself delete the account history. That distinction lets you return to the saved record while the account remains in place. If you want the account and practice record removed, use the deletion action rather than relying on access expiration.

Paddle keeps transaction records as required by law. Deleting a Blind Drill account does not erase records that Paddle must retain for that purpose. The anonymous demo cookie has the separate 1-year duration described above.

Copies, corrections and questions

You can ask for a copy or correction of your data by contacting contact@blinddrill.com. Account deletion is available directly from the account page, with a running subscription canceled first.
